Il saggio si presenta come una indagine sperimentale sul rapporto fra stabilità e mutamento nel diritto costituzionale. La questione centrale che vi viene affrontata riguarda le rappresentazioni che il tempo assume nelle costruzioni del costituzionalismo moderno e di quello post-totalitario. A tal fine è dedicata specifica attenzione alla negazione del tempo che caratterizza i regimi totalitari fin dall’epoca degli schiavitù degli ebrei nell’antico Egitto.
The essay is a tentative exploration on the relationship between stability and change from the perspective of constitutional law. The issue is intended to comprehend the questions of how the representations of time affect the constructions of modern and of post-totalitarian constitutionalism. To this end, particular attention is afforded to the negation of time that characterizes the totalitarian regimes since the slavery of Hebrews in the ancient Egypt.
